The company SELF, sarl capital of € 7,630, located at 53, rue Boissière 75116 Paris and registered with the RCS of Paris under number 415 296 193, publishes the smtp-r.com site, devoted to the marketing of the “SMTP-R” software.

SELF acts as data controller for the data collected on the smtp-r.com site. In certain cases (organization of events with partners in particular), SELF is also likely to act as a joint controller or processor.

The data collected by SELF are collected, recorded and stored in accordance with the provisions of the law relating to computers, files and freedoms of January 6, 1978 in the version in force on the date hereof, as well as with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation.

When you wish to receive our newsletters, download content and register for events, SELF may collect your first and last names, emails, work phones, functions and the name of your employer. Other data related to your professional activity may possibly be requested. Non-mandatory data is accompanied by the word “optional” on our forms.

The processing of this data is necessary to allow the sending of the newsletters to which you wish to subscribe, to manage your registrations for professional events, to offer you information adapted to your areas of interest or, when possible, to open an account in order to to access privileged content.

Certain content on the site was built in partnership with our commercial partners, or was financed through the establishment of partnerships with our suppliers.

Access to this content may be free, or as part of a paid subscription.

If you wish to have free access to said content, you allow us to share your data with our business partners in order to receive, in your professional context, offers in connection with the selected newsletters. Your agreement allows us to continue to send you quality content free of charge. When your data is communicated to our business partners, it is only to offer services related to your professional activity and your areas of interest, in relation to the newsletters and events for which you have registered. No communication is made without your express consent and without your having previously been informed.

 

As part of the free offer, your personal data is erased at the expiration of a period of one (1) year after your last use of the services or download of content. This period allows you to quickly access the content again if you wish, without having to re-enter all your data.

 

If you have an account, your data will be deleted when your account is closed.

 

As part of the paid offer, your data is kept until your subscription is terminated.

 

Your email address is however kept as long as you have not requested to unsubscribe from our mailing lists, in order to keep you informed of our events and our publications. In any case, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the link in our newsletters.

 

Your professional contact details collected during a registration for a professional event are kept for a maximum period of three years from the date of the last event for which you registered. Your email address is however kept to allow the sending of newsletters and professional alerts, as long as you do not wish to unsubscribe, as mentioned in the previous paragraph.

 

In accordance with our general policy on personal data, you have a right of access allowing you at any time to know the nature of the data collected concerning you, to request their rectification or erasure. This right is exercised by simply sending an email to contact (at) smtp (dash) r (dot) com.

 

When SELF acts as a subcontractor, the right of access, rectification and erasure is exercised directly with the data controller.

 

If you have authorized us to share your data, and are contacted by one of our partners, you can directly exercise your right of access, rectification and erasure in connection with the data it uses.

 

In the event of a difficulty related to the management of your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL or with any competent supervisory authority.

Cookies can be installed automatically on your browser software or your terminal when you access our site. A cookie is an element that does not identify a person but is used to record information relating to the navigation of this one on the site.

 

There are two types of cookies: session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies are created temporarily in the subfolder of your browser when you visit a website. Once you leave the site, the session cookie is deleted.
